The container-level thermal runaway test conducted by Ji’andun was successfully completed.

To meet the growing demand from customers for validation of container‑grade fire‑suppression system performance, Hubei Jian’an Dun Fire Technology Co., Ltd. conducted large‑scale thermal runaway tests on container‑grade systems from November 26 to 28, 2024. During the experiments, a complete alarm and ventilation system was installed inside a standard 20‑foot container, along with a 315 Ah battery pack. Drawing on both domestic and international standards—including GB/T 36276, UL 9540A, and DB32/T 4682‑2024—the researchers simulated cell thermal runaway by subjecting the battery to overcharge and heating conditions.

From the first-generation aerosol fire suppression system to the latest pulse‑type series, the volumetric utilization rate of the extinguishing agent per unit time has increased from 45% to 100%, with a fire‑extinguishing capacity of up to 50 g/m³.


Fast detection

Thermal‑sensitive elements are strategically deployed within the protected area. When a battery pack, battery cluster, or energy‑storage container experiences thermal runaway—resulting in a rapid temperature rise to 185°C ± 15°C or the emergence of open flames—the thermal‑sensitive elements detect the fire at the earliest stage and promptly and automatically activate the corresponding fire‑extinguishing system to suppress the blaze.


Truly non-toxic

The agent‑dispensing system has been comprehensively upgraded; the product is certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for environmental compliance. After deployment, the device leaves no ozone depletion potential (ODP) and zero global warming potential (GWP), while being harmless to humans and animals, environmentally benign, and non‑corrosive to protected materials.

Compact in size and versatile in design, it provides fire protection for energy storage systems of various configurations and applications. The product occupies minimal space and can be installed using conventional methods, offering simple and rapid operation. It supports modular installation with multiple units, enabling truly comprehensive, dead‑zone‑free rapid fire suppression.
